Hi tankers

It’s time for an update for what we have been working on for Tank Clash : western front. 

We have distributed the print-and-play files to backers last month and we hope that those who printed them had great tank battles already. The image above was submitted to BGG by Clifton Franklund from the U.S. We think he did a fantastic job with the little touches like coin capsules to ‘poker chip’ the tokens. 

The STL files were also sent around the same time last month. For those who 3D printed their own Chibi tanks, we would love to see your handiwork especially if they are painted.

There will be a couple of 4-player and alternative terrain layout playtests this month so we’ll upload the documentation of those on our Tank Clash BGG page in June. We are also going to do our manufacturing prototype soon so we’ll keep you posted on that in our next update.

And for those who have not replied the Backerkit survey, please do so that we have everyone’s shipping details. The pledge manager will probably close in June so you still have some time to adjust your orders.

Battle around frozen lakes

As promised, here's a sneak peek at the prototype winter map that our artists were working on. Our playtesters tried several versions of the map and finally chose the one featured above. We hope that the frozen lakes and snow will provide you with more enjoyable options for your tank battles.

The print-and-play files are also almost completed and we will do a test print before distributing them to all PNP backers.

Most importantly, the pledge manager will be open in a week's time. And yes ... the tank minis will be available as an add-on. Please do keep an eye for our Backerkit survey email (in case it goes into your spam folder).

It's time for a quick update on a couple of things we have been doing behind the scenes since we were successfully funded in December.

Winter map - The winter terrain map has been designed and our artists are working on illustrating the artwork now. We hope to show that to you in our next update!

Rule book - There has been several minor revisions to the rule book...mainly improvements in the explanation of certain rules...all thanks to feedback from the community.  Several more questions and answers have been added to the FAQ file as well.

Modular board setup - We are creating a dedicated PDF file to show you the different possible map layouts using the modular boards. This file will be made available at our Tank Clash BGG site for you to download.

Minis / STL files - Hooray! A 3D printing vendor has agreed to produce our minis and we will be making preparations for test prints.

We are extremely grateful to those who took the trouble to write to us giving comments and suggestions for improvements to Tank Clash. We have made several changes to the artwork and content accordingly. Please do keep sending us your feedback...ideally by next month...so that the Print-and-Play files will incorporate all the refinements.

We did it!

HI TANKERS

You have helped us win the battle! We are excited that Tank Clash will become a reality and we look forward to moving on to the next stage of its development.

It's fantastic that we reached our 3rd stretch goal (Winter map) on the last day of our campaign. 

In the upcoming weeks we will be sending you a Backerkit survey to get shipping and other information. We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. 

We will also be sending another update regarding the production of the minis once we manage to confirm a suitable vendor. It will be added to the backerkit pre-order Store which is now open for those who want to do a late pledge.

In the meantime, keep sending us your comments and feedback. We are working to improve and refine the game before shipping it to you.

3rd stretch goal unlocked!

We have just reached the S$12K mark to unlock the 3rd stretch goal! 

The additional winter terrain map will be printed on the reverse side of the existing modular boards. 

To recap, Tank Clash will now include reference cards, bridge tokens and winter terrain map in the game.

It's just a few more hours to the end of our campaign ... see you at the finishing line!
